In 2015, Christelle Rosnoblet – a passionate devotee of “Belle Horlogerie” – invested in an Haute Horlogerie workshop named “le Cercle des Horlogers" in La Chaux-de-Fonds, specializing in research and development. As an independent brand, Speake-Marin wished to free itself from sourcing-related issues. Thanks to “le Cercle des Horlogers" workshop, it now has the capacity to produce its own COSC-certified in-house movements, balance-springs and dials. The Maison currently has eight movements and each of these calibres powering its watches is 100% independently crafted and assembled.
Featuring fundamental aesthetic codes and the most exclusive horological complications, all Speake-Marin timepieces make their mark in a contemporary universe, unaffected by the seasonal trends that run through the watch industry. In addition to one-off special orders, each collection is produced in a limited edition.
The workshop has thus ushered Speake-Marin into the highly exclusive circle of independent and creative watchmaking.
