Piccadilly engraved
The construction of the dials is unique to the Piccadilly. They are made on three parts from 18k gold. The top level carries the numbers and has two levels, the upper carrying the minute markers which are holes drilled through the dial and highlighted by a black band printed on the lower section, this upper section is circular grained.
The lower section or mid section is mirror finished to allow the names to be printed on a polished background which is also angled.
The bottom level is a flat disc which can be decorated by engine turning or hand engraving.
